Open Positions

We are currently looking for MSc students studying the impact of the t haplotype on house mouse behaviour and ecology.

13.11.2024. We are studying the consequences for females of mating with t carriers. We also have a current project on the role of male-male competition in fitness of t carriers. If you’d like to be involved in experimental work and data analyses on this native wild mammal of Switzerland, please get in touch!

We also offer projects on life history consequences of the t haplotype. We’d also be delighted to have a student investigate the global distribution of t haplotypes and whether environmental variables affect their frequency dynamics.

We also have considerable genomic data of the t haplotype to explore!

Master projects

We always welcome MSc students, get in touch if you are interested in a MSc project on house mice behaviour, ecology and evolution! We have amazing datasets and facilities to work with.
